Hi, I'm Victoria, but more commonly known as Tor!

I am based in Glossop in the Peak District, just outside of Manchester but I am originally from Yorkshire.

This photo was taken just after my husband, Steven, and I had said those two famous words...'I do'. I had spent over 18 months planning our country barn wedding which we had both envisioned and all of my hard work had paid off...to say it was the best day of our lives is an understatement.

I want my clients to feel the same on their wedding day as I did on mine...having nothing to worry about, knowing that everything is in hand, with their only focus being on celebrating their special day with family and friends.

My friends and family would tell you that I am extremely down to earth, a quality I know people look for in a wedding planner so they can feel at ease when discussing their aspirations for their special day. You can be reassured that I will have every element of your wedding fine tuned to the smallest detail; I'm a perfectionist at heart and thrive on organisation. I endeavour to be prepared for all eventualities - I cannot guarantee the weather but I can definitely have a back up plan in place!

What type of weddings do I plan?

I specialise in planning weddings for exclusive use or dry hire venues which tend to be based in country or industrial settings such as barns, mills, farms, village halls, tipis or marquees. Unlike the more traditional style wedding venues, planning a wedding in these locations can be extremely stressful. A wedding coordinator from your venue isn't often provided (and if they are, they will only help you with those elements which are venue specific), so there are a lot of moving parts for you to consider and organise...don't let that intimidate you though as this is where I can help!

I truly believe that these types of weddings are the most exciting as they are a blank canvas. My husband and I knew that we didn't want a venue where everything was dictated to us (like a lot of the more traditional wedding venues); we wanted the freedom to express our personalities so that our wedding day was unique and personal to us. If this sounds familiar, then get in touch and we can start to make your dreams a reality.

If you envisage or have booked a different style of wedding venue however, please don't hesitate to get in touch as I have also delivered weddings in manor houses, stately homes and luxury boutique hotels so I have plenty of experience in a variety of venues.

I cover the whole of the North West, Derbyshire and Yorkshire including, but not limited to, Glossop, High Peak, Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Liverpool, Sheffield, Harrogate, Leeds, York and Huddersfield however I am also happy to travel further afield. If you would like to find out more about how I can help then please do get in touch.

How do I work?

Whether it's planning a wedding or a special life event, I love to take the time to get to know my clients, working collaboratively to ensure that I can deliver their perfect day.

My planning process is completely bespoke for every client and begins with an initial free of charge consultation where I will find out more about you, your personalities, likes & dislikes and your 'must-haves' which will allow me to ensure that these are seamlessly tailored to your wedding or event plan.

I am extremely passionate about turning your dreams into a reality and my bespoke service means that all of the small details are taken care of. I only work with a limited number of clients a year to ensure they are provided with the time and they deserve.
