My Role as Your Marquee Wedding Planner

Planning a marquee wedding is an exciting opportunity to create a truly bespoke celebration - but with that creative freedom comes a unique set of logistical challenges. Unlike traditional venues, every detail needs to be carefully coordinated, from supplier management to ensuring seamless event flow. That’s why having an experienced wedding planner by your side is invaluable.

My role is to take the stress out of the process, ensuring that everything comes together flawlessly so you can enjoy the journey. I’ll work closely with you to bring your vision to life while providing expert guidance, troubleshooting potential challenges, and making sure no detail is overlooked.

​There are countless behind-the-scenes elements that couples often don’t consider at first - such as flooring choices, power and water supply, toilet facilities, refrigeration for drinks, lighting, guest access, and the overall event flow. While these details may not be the most glamorous, they are essential to ensuring a seamless and stress-free day. I’ll handle all of these logistics, allowing you to focus on the fun, creative elements that will turn your blank canvas into an unforgettable celebration.

"We hired Tor to help with our wedding and really cannot thank or recommend her enough. Our wedding was held at our family farm, and whilst this seemed like a great idea, we also had so many possibilities of things going wrong on the day. As soon as we had Tor's input into the wedding, she gave us every bit of confidence that the day would run as beautifully as it did. From the week leading up to the wedding, all of our suppliers couldn’t believe how relaxed I was and this was definitely thanks to Tor.


Tor was there at all hours to answer any questions, help me make decisions, and make suggestions that I definitely wouldn’t have thought of (without being annoying!). On the day of the wedding I was able to have such a lovely morning with the bridal party, and throughout the day knew everything was being taken care of which resulted in being able to actually enjoy our wedding day without any stress (which a lot of couples don’t get to do).


Tor is such a lovely person and so easy to get on with. We had so many comments from guests about how incredible our wedding was, how smooth the day went, and how fab Tor was behind the scenes. We have said from the start, hiring Tor was the best decision we made…we are also convinced she could plan a wedding on Mount Everest and it run smoothly.
